Crystal Davis, MA, LPC
Drawing on my experience in the Mental Health field, I aim to empower clients to build resilience and manage different challenges through a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship. My desire to support and guide youth, adults and families extends for many years. To this end, I have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Community Service, a Master’s degree in Counseling, and a certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
My experiences include working with children, adolescents, and young adults in various settings such as residential, community settings, and schools. In these different organizations, I have supported youth with sexual and substance abuse issues as well as anger management problems, teen pregnancies, academic issues and youth in the juvenile justice system. Working with at risk youth is something that I have grown to love and somehow identify with. It is a strong and very challenging population, however, very rewarding.
The modalities I typically use are holistic approach and client-centered, strengths based approaches, in which I may utilize techniques from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, solution-focused, mindfulness, play therapy and psychoeducational modalities.
