Amanda Baker, LCSW

I am a dedicated Clinical Social Worker with experience and expertise in trauma-focused care, crisis intervention, and mental health. With over a decade of service as a first responder in Washington, DC, I honed my skills in handling high-stress situations with compassion and effectiveness (and a bit of appropriately jaded sarcasm). My commitment to mental health extends beyond borders, having worked in diverse international settings such as South Africa, Thailand, Mexico, and Greece.

My clinical specialties include trauma therapy, PTSD treatment, crisis response, suicidality intervention, and providing support to law enforcement and first responders. I am also particularly passionate about working with children and adolescents, helping them navigate challenges and build resilience. I strive to provide my clients a safe, shame-free space to explore any and all hurts, habits, and hang-ups.
