Adolescent Group Counseling

Service Description

Family Matters Counseling Center offers teen processing groups for ages 13-17 years. Groups are held in the afternoons and continue for 12 consecutive weeks. Each group is limited to 6 participants. Processing groups focus on self-esteem, relationships, affirmations, coping skills, communication styles, boundaries, and long term goals for self. Connecting with others who are facing similar challenges can offer healing and support for teenagers, while also helping them to recognize that they are not alone in their struggles.
